Shintō
Name: Shintō
Culture: None
History: The Shintō clan are known primarily for their Kekkei Genkai of manipulating magnetic fields. This has been seen in several Kazekage (the third, fourth, and fifth), gaining the clan renown. Despite this, there is not much known about the Shintō clan's history or culture.
Kekkei Genkai: Jiton (Magnet Release)
Description: Jiton gives the user the ability to manipulate magnetic fields. This is accomplished through a combination of Fūton and Raiton. Jiton cannot be leveled up higher than the average of the user's Fūton and Raiton levels (meaning if they have level 500 Fūton and level 300 Raiton, their Jiton can be up to level 400). This ability can be used to magnetize/demagnetize any metalic object, enhance/dim the magnetic field of a metalic object in order to move it, or many other things. While this allows the user to manipulate objects through magnetism, it does NOT allow them to manifest their chakra into physical forms like most other chakra natures. This kekkei genkai is also widely used with metal filings to freely form shapes, capture opponents, float off the ground with, etc.
Mastery: Sand Release- The user is capable of giving very small pieces of earth a magnetic field. This effectively allows them to control sand in the same way they can control magnetic filings. Any jutsu that uses Jiton to control metal filings can now use sand instead, so long as the sand has been magnetized (see jutsu below). If the Jiton jutsu relies on the metal filings' item level, it uses the level of the jutsu used to magnetize the sand instead. Sand Release is weak against Suiton due to making the sand too heavy to manipulate, as well as Raiton due to Raiton's natural strength against Doton. Sand Release is strong against Katon because it hardens the sand.
Drawback: Due to the high level of skill required to mold chakra into an Advanced Element, all Jiton jutsu cost +30% chakra to activate and +30% Skill Points to learn. Additionally, Jiton jutsu require twice the normal number of handsigns to activate. Because enough electricity can alter a magnetic field, supplementary Jiton jutsu must list how Raiton can cancel them out. Shintō have a difficult time learning other chakra natures, and as such it takes twice the normal Skill Points for them to learn a new Element.

Jutsus:
- Spoiler:
- Name: Jiton: Magnetic Sand Conversion
Level: 100
Purpose: Supplementary
Types: Dependable
Focuses: Jiton, Doton
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 1 posts
Description: This allows the user to give up to 1 cubic meter of sand a magnetic field. If there is no sand present, they can convert 1 cubic meter of earth into sand as well. The user must be touching the earth/sand they are using this jutsu on.
Name: Jiton: Exclusive Possession
Level: 150
Purpose: Supplementary
Types: Amplified
Focuses: Jiton, Chakra Flow
Duration: Maintainable (50)
Cooldown: 1 posts
Description: When this jutsu is activated, the user "marks" a weapon they are holdings by giving it a magnetic field. The user simultaneously charges the hand(s) holding it to give it a corresponding charge. As long as this jutsu is active, the charge/magnetic field will persist. If the item is hit with cumulative level 150 Raiton jutsu(s) it will become demagnetized. If the marked item has a higher level than this jutsu, the maintenance cost is doubled.
Amplify(50): When the user amplifies this jutsu, it causes the charge in their hand(s) to become much stronger. This forces the marked weapon to immediately return to their possession at a speed of 15 m/s, from up to 60 meters away. If another shinobi is holding the weapon, it will only return if they have less than 150 Strength. If they have 150 or higher Strength, they will receive -150 Strength to all attacks using that weapon for as long as this jutsu is amplified. Additionally, if the level of the item is higher than the level of this jutsu, the amplification cost is doubled.
Name: Jiton: Weaponization
Level: 250
Purpose: Supplementary
Types: Amplified
Focuses: Jiton, Ninjutsu
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: This jutsu allows the user to manipulate a number of metal filings to form them into a weapon of their choosing. This weapon can be as large as the user wishes, however is limited by the number of filings they own. The level of the weapon is the same as the level of the filings (if more than 1 type of filing is used, the lowest-level filing determines the level of the weapon). If this weapon is struck by a cumulative level 250 Raiton jutsu(s), it will fall apart into individual filings.
Amplified(100): All attacks with this weapon are increased by +10 Strength.
Name: Jiton: Metallic Coffin
Level: 400
Purpose: Offensive
Types: Piercing
Focuses: Jiton, Ninjutsu
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: This jutsu requires at least 3 cubic meters of metal filings to use. Once activated, the filings will begin flying towards a target designated by the user up to 30 meters away. These filings can home in on their target and fly at 30 m/s. They will latch onto the target more and more until eventually the filings completely cover them (except for their head). The filings will then restrain the target, making them unable to move at all during the following post.
Name: Jiton: Metallic Burial
Level: 400
Purpose: Offensive
Types: Desperate
Focuses: Jiton, Ninjutsu
Parent: Jiton: Metallic Coffin
Duration: 1 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: This jutsu can only be used once the user has an opponent in Jiton: Metallic Coffin. Once activated, the metal filings will compress onto the target until they fracture bones throughout their body. The filings then decompress and release the target, ending both this jutsu and Jiton: Metallic Coffin.
Name: Jiton: Magnetic Projectile
Level: 500
Purpose: Supplementary
Types: Dependable
Focuses: Jiton, Chakra Flow
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: This jutsu is initiated by the user magnetizing one of their weapons. The user then must hit the opponent with this weapon (can be thrown) in order to transfer the magnetic field onto them. Once transferred, the user can magnetize any metallic item to give it a "homing" effect to the target. This causes the items to travel directly towards the target at 25 m/s for the duration of this jutsu, making them nearly impossible to avoid. If the user tries to magnetize filings in this way that are being used for another jutsu, they will not cause any jutsu damage that they normally would from the other jutsu. If the target uses cumulative level 500 Raiton jutsu that specifically charge their own body, it will cancel out this jutsu's effect.
Name: Jiton: Cloud Technique
Level: 1000
Purpose: Supplementary
Types: Desperate
Focuses: Jiton, Ninjutsu
Duration: Maintainable (500)
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Using Jiton, the user can assemble any number of metal filings beneath their feet. These filings are then magnetized to repel against the Earth's magnetic field in such a way that they levitate. This allows the user to effectively fly on top of the filings to any extent they wish. While flying, the user travels at their normal speed. The user can lift up to 75 kg of weight for every 1 cubic meter of metal filings used. If the filings are hit with a cumulative level 1000 Raiton jutsu(s), they will become demagnetized. Note this can be avoided by gathering more filings (that haven't been hit by Raiton) beneath the user.
