Makikomu Jutsu Registry

Name: Ice Release: Ice Dagger
Level: 160

Purpose: Offensive
Focuses: Ninjutsu, Ice
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 1 posts
Description: User molds chakra into a .3m dagger of ice, the blade of which is .25m in length, the hilt .05m. The dagger is thin, lightweight, and easily maneuverable. Upon execution, dagger immediately forms in user’s hand(s). The damage done by the dagger depends on the user’s strength (depth of cut is strength/100 in inches). Due to dagger’s light weight and clever design, it can be thrown like a kunai.

Description: A 5m long, 1m thick, 10m high wall of ice rises out of the ground, oriented in any direction, at a speed of 20m/s. If there are objects on the ground from where the wall is rising, they will be carried upwards with the wall as long as the user would normally be able to lift them.

Name: Water Release: Hiding in Water Technique
Level: 150
Purpose: Supplementary
Types: Amplified
Focuses: Water, Ninjutsu
Duration: Maintainable (60)
Cooldown: 1 posts
Description: The user sinks into an existing body of water to hide from an enemy, no matter how shallow the water. Alternatively, if no body of water is available, the user can create a small puddle (0.5 meters in diameter) to hide in. The user can partially emerge (and later submerge again) from the water to attack, but cannot move throughout the water. This concealment jutsu hides the user from sight.
Amplified(40): The user can move around inside the water (if they formed a puddle initially, they can extend the puddle to where they move). While moving like this, the user's Speed is reduced by -300.

Hello Makikomu, for starters, please rename this thread "Makikomu Jutsu Registry", as this is where you will be posting all of your jutsu (not one thread per jutsu).

As for the jutsu itself: this seems a bit too open-ended. I'd like to see some more structure to this, as in limiting what you are able to form with the ice, what damage such structures can cause, etc. The technique, as is, is a much much much higher level than 150. Also the cooldown should be around 3-5 posts, and the maintenance cost should probably be closer to 100.

The user can rise the pillar up to 3 meters away from them.

Ice dagger cannot have custom damage, sorry :/. Must use either Strength or jutsu damage

The user can partially emerge (and later submerge again) from the water to attack, but cannot move throughout the water. This technique can be used even in very shallow water.

Name: Water Release: Gunshot
Level: 200
Purpose: Offensive
Types: Amplified
Focuses: Water, Ninjutsu
Range: 40m
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: The user kneads chakra, converts it into water, and then spits it out in the form of a condensed ball traveling at 60 m/s.
Amplify(100): The user can spit out a second bullet.

New jutsu should go in the original post and then the thread should be bumped, just so you know.

Maintenance cost on hiding in water should be brought down to 50, and take out the "user cannot be harmed while hidden" part (makes this waaaay stronger than what its intended to be)

Gunshot needs to give damage description as well as decrease speed (average speed for level 200 jutsu is 20 m/s)

Upon firing, the bullet travels at 40 m/s up to 20m and can pierce objects up to 2" deep. After impact, the water loses its bullet form and turns into ordinary water.
Amplify(100): The user can shoot a second bullet, not necessarily from the same hand.
